Joanna Wilson and Ashleigh's Jade of Hextor  winning at Barcombe

Joanna Wilson is another one of Warrenby Gundogs pupils who became a keen competitor in the gundog world with her bitch Ashleigh's Jade of Hextor, a very pretty German Shorthaired Pointer aka Fern. She started with Warrenby in late 2007 with her husband Paul Wilson and their GWP but didn't buy Fern until late 2008. Fern moved from Puppy to Open grade competition in a little over a year of starting to compete after winning the Norfolk and Suffolk HPR Field Trial Club Working Test in August 2010.  Fern was sadly killed in a freak accident in January 2011, she was with pup at the time and will be sadly missed.
