Young Handler Classes

Warrenby Gundogs appreciates the importance of starting to develop the skills of both handlers and dogs at a young age. We believe that it is essential to encourage young handlers to take up the sport and enjoy all aspects of training and competition. The young handlers of today are of course the future of our sport and the field trial championship winners of tomorrow!

We run regular classes for young handlers of all ages and abilities, whether complete beginners or those that are already competing their dogs. Dedicated training days are also held during school holidays where young handlers can practice their skills over a variety of terrains in different locations from those used in normal training sessions.

Our emphasis is on having fun and nurturing very special partnerships between young people and their animals.

We have had many successes with our young handler programme with numerous awards having been won by our trainees . We are very excited for our current trainees who show such enthusiasm and passion for working their dogs.
